How billing works
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, for the month ahead. There is no setup fee and no deposit.
- Metered usage (AI texts and email, call minutes, SMS, ad spend) is billed separately, in arrears, for what you actually used. Usage incurred before you cancel remains payable.
- If you chose the prepaid year, all 12 months are charged up front in exchange for the discount, and the subscription renews for another prepaid year unless you cancel before the renewal date. We email you before each renewal.
Refunds
Recurring fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the period charged. When you cancel, your service continues through the end of the period you have already paid for, and no portion of that period is refunded. If you prepaid a year and cancel partway through it, service runs to the end of that year and no portion is refunded.
If something has gone wrong at the very start, we would rather fix it than argue about it. Within 14 days of your first charge, if we have not yet delivered the service that charge paid for, we will consider refunding it. This is something we choose to do, not something the agreement entitles you to, and we decide case by case. Ask us.
Custom application builds are quoted and invoiced separately under their own statement of work, and the refund terms for those are the ones written into that document.
Cancelling, service by service
Different services carry different minimum terms, because they cost us different things to start. Here is what each one commits you to and what happens when you leave.
Cancel inside the 12-month term and the waived build fee becomes due. The site is hosted and licensed by us, so it is taken offline on cancellation. You keep your domain, logos, photos and content. A one-time static export is available for a fee once your account is paid in full.
Cancel inside the 6-month minimum and we stop maintaining the search indexation of the paid SEO pages and apply a noindex directive, which removes those pages from search results. Prepaid fees are not refunded. Resubscribe and we remove the noindex and resume. After the 6-month minimum, cancelling does not trigger the noindex remedy.
Cancel anytime with 30 days notice. Access continues through the period you already paid for. Your data is yours; it is retained 60 days for export and then permanently deleted. Metered usage incurred before cancellation is still payable.

Complimentary SEO with a new website
New website customers receive approximately 90 days of SEO at no charge. There is no subscription and no minimum term attached to that period, and you are not billed for it.
At the end of the complimentary period, SEO becomes a paid service. It is not charged automatically without warning: we contact you at least 7 days beforehand with the price and the start date, and SEO only begins billing if you go ahead. If you do not want to continue, tell us before the start date and nothing is charged.
If a charge looks wrong, talk to us first
Email support@webdevauto.com with the charge date and amount. We respond to billing questions within 24 hours on business days. If we billed you in error we fix it and refund the error, and that is not discretionary.
Filing a chargeback with your bank instead does not reach us any faster. It opens a formal process where we are required to respond with evidence, which typically includes your signed agreement, the timestamp and IP address of your acceptance at checkout, the payment record, and proof the service was delivered. A direct email is faster for both of us.
How to cancel
Cancel from your dashboard, or email support@webdevauto.com. Recurring billing continues until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, subject to the minimum term on your services and any early-cancellation remedy described above.
