Your next customer is searching "near me" right now.

Local SEO That Turns "Near Me" Searches Into Booked Jobs.

More people finding you. More phones ringing. More jobs on the calendar. That is the only reason local SEO is worth paying for, and it is the only thing we measure it against.

The mechanism is Google's Map 3-pack: when someone nearby searches for what you do, Google shows three businesses on the map before anything else, and those three take about 42% of the clicks.1 Getting into that three is not luck, and it is not about who has been in business longest. It is a fully-built Google Business Profile, consistent citations, real reviews, and schema Google can read, run on the playbook that works in 2026 rather than the citation blasts and review funnels from 2018 that now get businesses filtered out.

Build your system

Free audit, no obligation. SEO from $200/mo on top of the $199/mo website plan, no setup fee.

  • Built for the trades
  • One team owns the site and the search work
  • A plain-English report every month

Local SEO is how a business gets found in Google's Map 3-pack and the near-me results for the services it sells locally. It comes down to four things done right: a fully-built Google Business Profile, consistent citations, a steady stream of real reviews, and on-page schema. WebDevAuto runs all four for home-service companies and reports what moved every month.

What it costs

Start with local SEO

Your ranking plan is selected: the website plan and SEO Growth, two lines in one cart. No setup fee, and a 6-month minimum on the SEO line that goes month to month after. The only other decision is whether we also handle the calls and texts that ranking produces.

What do you need?
How much SEO?

Packages differ by how many new or substantially rebuilt SEO pages we produce each billing month. Everything else is the same in all five.

$399/mo

$399/mo. No setup fee. Includes 2 new or substantially rebuilt SEO pages each month (24 a year at that rate). That yearly number is the monthly allowance times twelve, not a prepaid balance of pages, and unused monthly production does not automatically roll over.

Start ranking

Prices are per month and exclude nothing: no setup fee, no separate hosting bill. AI texts, email and Ava usage are billed by use on the CRM line. New clients: ask about the intro plan, where the first three months of SEO are free and a day 90 results review decides whether the fee starts. It is set up with us rather than through the cart.

The same "near me" search, with and without local SEO

A homeowner's water heater starts leaking on a Tuesday morning. Here is how that search goes each way.

Not in the 3-pack
  1. 8:10am. She grabs her phone and searches "water heater repair near me."
  2. Google shows three businesses on the map. You are on page two, if she scrolls that far.
  3. She taps one of the three, skims the reviews, and calls.
  4. By the time you would have turned up, she has already booked someone else.
A job you never knew you lost.
In the 3-pack
  1. 8:10am. She searches "water heater repair near me."
  2. You are one of the three on the map, with dozens of recent reviews and a strong rating.
  3. She taps to call, and your phone rings before she scrolls any further.
  4. The job is booked while your competitor's line is still ringing.
A booked job, from a search you used to lose.

How it works

Get found. Get more calls. Book more work.

Four levers move a local business into the Map 3-pack. We run all four every month, and the full mechanism is documented in the detail below.

  • Your Google Business Profile, run properly

Right primary category, the full service list, attributes, geotagged photos, and weekly posts. In our audits this is the biggest lever on map ranking, and the one most businesses leave half-filled.

  • A website Google can actually read

Built and hosted inside the same flat price, with hand-written schema for your specific trade, service pages, and city pages that go up as the plan rolls.

  • Citations and reviews that count

Consistent name, address, and phone across the directories that carry weight, plus review requests after every job. No gating, no blasts, nothing that gets a profile filtered.

  • A report you can read

Every month, in plain English: what moved, what is holding you back, and the exact fixes queued next. Not a PDF of charts nobody opens.

Part of your WebDevAuto system

Ranking fills the top of the funnel. The rest of it decides what you keep.

You can buy ranking on its own and it works. It just pays more when the phone that starts ringing is answered and worked by the same system.

  1. Local SEOYou are herePuts you in the Map 3-pack for what people near you are searching right now.
  2. Your websiteThe website plan, in the same cart. Turns the visitor ranking sent into a call or a form.
  3. Ava, your AI receptionistAnswers the extra calls ranking produces, 24/7, and books the job.
  4. Missed-call automationTexts back in about 30 seconds when nobody picks up, before they dial a competitor.
  5. Review automationAsks for the review after the job, which is itself a ranking signal. The loop closes here.

Or take the whole system at once

Ranking plus the front office that catches everything it produces. Pick Get found, and catch every lead in the flow above and the price updates before you commit to anything. The website plan is already in the ranking cart, so adding the CRM adds exactly one line.

Want to understand how it works?

Here is exactly how we build, operate, and improve it: what ranking is worth in real jobs, how the Map 3-pack actually decides, what we do in month one versus month six, the 2018 tactics that now get businesses filtered, and how flat-fee compares to performance-based SEO.

What ranking is actually worth

Local SEO is a monthly cost against a monthly return, so the only question that matters is how many extra jobs it takes to pay for itself:

  • 42%1

of local-search clicks go to the Map 3-pack

the organic links below it split what is left

  • 1 to 2 jobs

a month covers the whole service in most trades

one HVAC repair, one roof inspection that converts, one legal consult, or a couple of detail jobs

  • It compounds

unlike ad spend, which resets every month

the profile, citations, and schema keep working whether or not you spent anything new

That is the honest test. If ranking cannot produce one or two extra jobs a month in your trade, do not buy it. In most home-service categories it clears that bar comfortably.

Run your own numbers

Two questions decide whether ranking is worth paying for: what one job is worth to you, and how many extra jobs a month it would have to produce. Move the sliders and the break-even point does the arguing. The plan here is the ranking plan as the cart charges it: the website plan plus SEO Growth.

Break-even is arithmetic on the two numbers you entered. The net figures subtract only the plan, not your labor, materials, or other job costs, and they are a projection from your own inputs, not a forecast or a guarantee of rankings or revenue. Actual results depend on your market, your category, and how competitive the map pack is where you work.

Your first three months of SEO are free, and the fee starts only if it worked

Local SEO is usually sold on a promise, billed from month one, by someone who is counting on you not checking. We would rather earn it. Here is how a new plan actually runs:
  • The first three months of SEO are free. We build the Google Business Profile, the service and service-area pages, the citations and the schema, and the SEO line is not billed while we do it.
  • At day 90 we show you the numbers. Search Console impressions and clicks against the 90 days before, which queries moved, where you rank now on the city and service terms we targeted, and the leads in your CRM that came from the site.
  • If it worked, the SEO fee starts and we keep going.
  • If the results are flat, we say so and extend. You do not start paying for SEO that has not moved anything yet.
  • You hear it from us first, either way. The day 90 review is a scheduled deliverable, not a quiet change to your card.
We do the work first, we show you what it did, and then you decide. That is why the intro plan is set up with us rather than bought from a button.
We agree the three free months and the day 90 review with you before anything is charged.
Talk through the intro offer

No setup fee, and the website is built and hosted inside the same plan.

What losing the near-me search actually costs you

The damage is invisible, which is why most owners underrate it. Nothing ever notifies you that a customer chose someone else:
  • Somebody nearby needs exactly what you sell. They are not price shopping and not researching. They have a problem right now and a phone in their hand.
  • Three businesses appear on the map. You are not one of them. Not because you do worse work. Because your profile is half-built and theirs is not.
  • They tap one of the three and call. The whole decision takes under a minute, and it happens before anyone scrolls down to the organic results where you might be ranking fine.
  • The job goes to a competitor, along with the repeat work and the referrals that customer would have sent you for years.
  • You never find out. There is no missed call to return and no form to follow up on. The loss is completely silent.
This runs every day in your service area. The only variable is whether the map shows your name or somebody else's.
You can start fixing that today, or have us tell you how bad it is first. Both take about two minutes.

Why local SEO is a different game from regular SEO

Most agencies sell "SEO." Local search runs on a different set of signals, which is why a general agency can hand you a rising traffic chart and no extra phone calls.
Regular SEO ranks your web pages against the whole internet: backlinks, content depth, topical authority. Local SEO ranks your business against the businesses near the person searching: your Google Business Profile, your citations, your reviews, and the schema on your site. You can rank #1 on a plain Google search and still be nowhere in the map 3-pack. They are scored on different signals.
If you are paying for SEO and your phone has not changed, this is usually why. Someone is optimizing the wrong surface.

The 2018 playbook vs. what works in 2026

The local algorithm has been rewritten more than once in five years. The Vicinity update (2021)2 raised proximity and gutted keyword-stuffed business names; later updates target thin templated pages and review manipulation.3 A lot of what agencies still sell is now actively harmful:
  • Citation blasts to 200+ directories. Then: volume looked like authority. Now: most are ignored, and inconsistent listings actively confuse Google about who you are.4 Instead: a small set of accurate, trade-relevant citations with identical name, phone, and website.
  • Review gating. Then: funnel only the happy customers to Google. Now: an explicit policy violation, with enforcement up to profile suspension.5 Instead: ask every customer automatically, and handle the unhappy ones properly rather than hiding them.
  • A doorway page for every nearby city. Then: a page per town to catch every search. Now: called out by name in Google's spam policies.6 Instead: one genuine page per area you actually serve, with real local content.
  • Keyword-stuffed business names. Then: "Joe's Plumbing Salt Lake City Emergency 24/7." Now: a direct Vicinity target and a suspension risk. Instead: your real business name, with the keywords carried by categories and services where they belong.
  • Buying reviews. Then: a shortcut to social proof. Now: the harshest penalty Google applies to a profile. Instead: review velocity earned from work you already do.
If your current agency is doing anything in the "then" column, you are paying someone to hold your rankings down. That is worth checking before you spend another month.
The free audit reads your profile, your citations, and your schema and tells you which column your current setup is in.

What we actually do every month

SEO & Google Business Profile Optimization starts at $200/mo with SEO Growth, and it runs on top of your $199/mo website plan, so your on-page signals and your Google profile are built together. Here is the work every package carries:
  • Google Business Profile rebuild. The profile is where local rankings actually live, and most are barely half set up. We fix the primary category (the strongest profile signal in our audits and in the industry ranking-factor surveys), fill out services and service areas, add the attributes that carry weight, and load geotagged photos, then keep it active with a weekly post cadence.
  • Citation cleanup, quality over quantity. We fix the inconsistent name, phone, and website listings that confuse Google, and get you into the few directories that actually matter for your trade. Twenty consistent citations beat two hundred sloppy ones. As a service-area business, your listings show your city and service area, not a home address.
  • Hand-written LocalBusiness schema. We mark up your site with the most specific type available (GeneralContractor or Plumber, not the generic LocalBusiness), plus service area, geo coordinates, hours, and ratings, so Google knows exactly what you do and where. Most template sites ship with none of this.
  • Review-request automation, the honest kind. Every customer gets the same request automatically, right after the job: one text with a direct link to your Google profile. Nobody is screened before the ask and nobody is routed away from it, because gating reviews is a policy violation. It ties into Ava, our AI receptionist, so the request fires the day a job closes.
  • A plain-English report every month. One report showing what moved, what is holding you back, and the exact fixes we are making next: profile, citations, schema, content gaps, and site speed. Not a 40-page traffic PDF you cannot act on.
  • You get the fixes made, not a list of homework. The report does not just flag problems, it carries the exact change for each one: the rewritten page title, the new meta description, the schema block that is missing. Because we build and host your site, our team makes those changes for you and records what each one replaced, so any of them can be put back. Most agencies hand you the list and count that as the deliverable.
Most agencies stop at "we ranked you." We build the website, run the profile, and help you answer the phone, so a near-me search turns into a booked job instead of a higher position nobody acts on.
That is the monthly deliverable, from $200/mo on top of the website plan. The bigger packages add more new SEO pages a month.

Inside the Google Business Profile, and why each field matters

Almost every profile we audit is about a third built. The name, address, and phone are filled in, and that is where it stops. The other two thirds is where the ranking lives:
  • Primary category. The strongest profile-level 3-pack signal in every local ranking-factor survey we have seen, and in our own audits. Google documents the three broad factors as relevance, distance, and prominence; the category is how a profile states relevance. Most owners pick the category that describes them best rather than the one Google actually ranks for their target searches. We research the live 3-pack before setting it.
  • Services. Every service listed as its own entry, which is how you become eligible for the specific searches people run instead of only the generic one.
  • Service areas. Google caps these at 20, so the list has to be chosen for real proximity rather than padded with every town within an hour.
  • Attributes. Veteran-owned, women-owned, emergency service, online estimates, accepted payments. Some carry direct ranking weight by industry, and they are the easiest thing to complete, which is exactly why they sit empty on most profiles.
  • Photos. Current, geotagged, and showing real work rather than three stock images from setup day.
  • Posts. A weekly cadence signals an active business. Monthly is noticeably weaker, and daily is no better than weekly.
  • Questions and answers. You can seed and answer your own questions from the business account. Almost nobody does, so the field sits blank on most competitors.
  • Reviews and your responses. Volume, velocity, recency, and response rate are all signals. Responding is the half most owners skip, and it is the half you fully control.
These compound. A correct category makes your services rank, photos and posts prove you are active, and review velocity proves you are trusted. Done in isolation each barely moves the needle, which is why piecemeal "GBP help" rarely works.

The review loop that runs itself

Review velocity, meaning reviews in the last 90 days, is the strongest ranking signal you directly control. It is also the first thing to die when everyone gets busy. So we automate the whole chain:
  • You mark the job complete in the CRM. That is the only manual step, and you were doing it anyway.
  • The request fires automatically a few days later, by text and email, while the work is still fresh in their mind.
  • One tap to Google. No login hunt, no copy-pasted link, which is where most review requests quietly die.
  • No screening, no gating. Every customer gets the same request, because routing only happy customers to Google is a policy violation. Replies to the request land in your inbox, so an unhappy customer still reaches you.
  • Your rating and velocity climb, which lifts the 3-pack ranking and the click-through rate at the same time.
  • More calls arrive, and every completed job re-enters the loop.
In our experience, a business earning 4 to 6 genuine reviews a month usually outranks one sitting on a 4.9 average from three years ago. Recency counts alongside reputation in the map pack, and recency is a process problem, not a quality problem.

The on-page half nobody else touches

Your Google profile does not rank in isolation. Google cross-checks it against your website, which is why the SEO plan includes the site rather than treating it as somebody else's problem:
  • Specific-type LocalBusiness schema. Not the generic wrapper. Your site declares what you actually are, plus service area, geo coordinates, hours, and ratings, so Google classifies you instead of guessing.
  • Real service pages. One genuine page per service you sell, so you are eligible for the specific searches instead of hoping the homepage covers everything.
  • Internal linking that makes sense. Services link to the areas they serve and back, which is how Google understands your coverage without doorway pages.
  • Core Web Vitals and mobile performance. Near-me searches happen on a phone, mid-problem, on cellular data. A slow site loses the click you just earned by ranking.
  • Semantic HTML and accessibility. Proper heading structure and labeled elements make the page machine-readable, which matters more every year as answers get assembled rather than listed.
  • Business information consistent with the profile. Name, phone, and service area identical everywhere, because a mismatch is the fastest way to confuse the entity Google has built for you.
This is the part a profile-only agency cannot do, because they do not own your website. It is also why the SEO plan includes the build rather than billing it separately.

Local SEO by city and trade

The same 2026 playbook, tuned to where you work and what you do. Go deeper by metro or trade:

DIY vs. a typical SEO agency vs. WebDevAuto

Most home-service owners weigh three paths to local rankings. Here is the honest trade-off, including where the cheaper options actually make sense.
DIY (do it yourself)Typical SEO agencyWebDevAuto
Who does the workYou, in the gaps between jobs: GBP edits, citations, and review requests when you rememberA generalist team running a templated monthly deliverableWe run the full stack (GBP, citations, schema, reviews) and build the website it all sits on
Google Business ProfileYou set it up once; categories and attributes are often wrong from day oneUsually included, but depth varies: many just tweak the description and add a postFull audit and rebuild on day one: right primary category, full service list, attributes, geotagged photos, weekly posts
On-page schemaRarely attempted; most template sites ship noneOften an upsell, and usually the generic LocalBusiness typeHand-written specific-type schema with service area, geo, hours, and ratings
Your websiteYours to build and maintainNot included; they optimize whatever you already haveBuilt for the rankings, at one flat price whether we build it or you keep your own
ReviewsYou chase them by hand, if you have timeSometimes automated, sometimes with review-gating that violates Google policyAutomated requests after every job, organic distribution, no gating, wired into your CRM
What you get backWhatever you check yourself in GBP InsightsA monthly PDF of traffic and keyword rankings you cannot always act onA plain-English report every month: what moved, what is holding you back, and the exact fixes next
CommitmentNone, beyond your own timeCommonly a 6 or 12 month contract plus an onboarding fee6-month minimum, then month-to-month, no setup fee
CostYour time; most owners lose a quarter before deciding it is not worth itTypically $500 to $2,500/mo, often before setup fees or citation cleanupfrom $200/mo on top of the $199/mo website plan, with setup and the monthly cadence in the price

DIY works for a patient, time-rich owner, it is not technically hard. A good agency does real work and earns its fee in competitive markets. The difference with WebDevAuto is integration: the rankings, the reviews, the website, and the phone all run on one system, so the lead a search creates actually gets answered and booked.

Built for the trades

Local SEO is the demand layer for any home-service business whose customers search "near me." We tune the profile, the categories, and the service-area pages to your trade:

  • Rank for no-cool and no-heat "near me" searches and same-day emergency terms across your service area.

  • Own the burst-pipe and water-heater searches that convert the moment something breaks.

  • Show up for panel, outage, and EV-charger searches in the neighborhoods you actually serve.

  • Capture storm-season demand and inspection searches before the door-knockers do.

  • Same map-pack playbook, tuned to your categories and your service radius.

Run an auto shop, med spa, salon, clinic, or law office? Local SEO works there too, and we build those on their own pages: Auto Services, Beauty, Health & Wellness, and Professional Services.

What ranking connects to

Ranking creates the call. These are the parts that make sure it turns into a booked job:

How local SEO is priced

SEO comes in five packages that differ by how many new or substantially rebuilt SEO pages we produce each billing month: SEO Growth $200 for 2, SEO Scale $350 for 5, SEO Pro $500 for 8, SEO Authority $750 for 12, SEO Dominance $1,000 for 16. Each runs on top of the website plan. Every package runs on a 6-month minimum, then month-to-month, with no setup fee, and every one covers full Google Business Profile management, citation cleanup, hand-written LocalBusiness schema, review-request automation, and a plain-English report every month.

An SEO package runs on top of the Website plan ($199/mo) rather than replacing it, because half of local ranking lives on the site: SEO Growth plus the website is $199 + $200 a month. To also answer and track every lead your rankings produce, add the AI CRM ($249/mo) and the full system is $648/mo. If you only want a site without ongoing SEO, take the website plan on its own.

Multi-location operators and franchises can scope a Custom App build ($15,000 to $80,000+) that ties local SEO, the AI receptionist, and lead generation into one managed system.

Frequently asked questions

What is local SEO, and how is it different from regular SEO?
Local SEO is the work of ranking your business in Google's Map 3-pack and near-me results for the services you sell in your city. Regular SEO ranks web pages against the whole internet on backlinks and content. Local SEO ranks businesses against the ones near the searcher, on Google Business Profile, citations, reviews, and on-page schema. You can rank #1 organically and still be invisible in the map pack, because they are scored on different signals.
What is the Map 3-pack and why does it matter so much?
The Map 3-pack is the block of three businesses Google shows on a map above the regular results for a local search. It takes roughly 42% of the clicks and it appears above everything else on a phone, which is where most near-me searches happen. Being fourth is functionally the same as being invisible for that search, which is why local SEO targets that specific block rather than general rankings.
How long does local SEO take to start working?
Cleaning up an existing Google Business Profile and citation set usually produces measurable movement in 4 to 8 weeks. Building rankings from scratch in a competitive trade takes 4 to 6 months to reach the 3-pack and 9 to 12 to lock the position. Anyone promising the 3-pack in 30 days is selling something Google will reverse.
What return should I expect from local SEO?
The honest test is whether ranking can produce one or two extra jobs a month in your trade, because that is roughly what covers the service. For HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, and legal work, where one job is worth several hundred to several thousand dollars, that bar is usually cleared comfortably. For very low-ticket services it is a closer call, and we will tell you if we think it is not worth it.
Do I need a physical storefront to rank in local search?
No. Service-area businesses rank on the same signals as storefronts, and hiding the address does not cost you anything by itself. Be aware of what the service-area setting does and does not do: it controls where your listing says you work, not where Google thinks you are. Proximity is still judged largely from your real business location, so listing a city does not by itself make you eligible to rank there. What moves you is the rest of the profile, your reviews, and your citations. We list your city and service area, not a home address, so you get the local ranking without publishing where you live.
How do reviews affect local rankings?
Four things matter: total volume, velocity (how many arrived in the last 90 days), recency, and your response rate. Velocity is the one most businesses neglect and the one you most directly control. In our experience, a business earning 4 to 6 genuine reviews a month usually outranks one sitting on a high average from three years ago. Review gating, meaning routing only happy customers to Google, is an explicit policy violation that can get reviews removed or the profile suspended.
Can I just buy reviews to rank faster?
No, and it is the fastest way to damage a profile. Google applies its harshest penalties to review manipulation, including removing the reviews and suspending the profile outright. Recovering a suspended profile costs far more than earning reviews properly would have. We only run ask-everyone automation on jobs you actually completed.
What is LocalBusiness schema and do I actually need it?
Schema is machine-readable markup that states what your business is, where it operates, when it is open, and how it is rated, so Google does not have to infer it from your marketing copy. The detail that matters is specificity: declaring GeneralContractor or Plumber rather than the generic LocalBusiness type. Most template sites ship with none of it, which makes it one of the cheapest advantages available to a small business.
Does local SEO help me show up in ChatGPT and other AI assistants?
It helps, and we build for it deliberately, but nobody can guarantee it. AI assistants assemble answers from what they can verify: consistent business information across the web, structured data they can parse, content that answers questions directly, and a real review corpus. Those are the same foundations that win the map pack, so the work overlaps almost entirely. Any agency selling guaranteed AI citations is promising something outside their control.
How many citations do I actually need?
Far fewer than most agencies sell. Twenty accurate, trade-relevant citations with identical name, phone, and website outperform two hundred sloppy ones, because inconsistent listings actively confuse Google about which business you are. The old citation-blast packages were priced by volume because volume was easy to invoice, not because it worked.
How much does local SEO cost with WebDevAuto?
SEO comes in five packages that differ by how many new or substantially rebuilt SEO pages we produce each billing month: SEO Growth $200 for 2, SEO Scale $350 for 5, SEO Pro $500 for 8, SEO Authority $750 for 12, SEO Dominance $1,000 for 16. Each runs on top of the website plan. Each runs on top of the $199/mo website plan on a 6-month minimum, then month-to-month, with no setup fee, so SEO Growth plus the website is $199 + $200 a month. Every package covers Google Business Profile management, citation cleanup, hand-written LocalBusiness schema, review-request automation, and a monthly report. Add the AI CRM ($249/mo) to answer and track the leads, and the full system is $648/mo.
Why does the SEO package run on top of the website plan?
Because roughly half of local ranking lives on your website: the schema, the service pages, the internal linking, and the page speed. An agency that only manages your Google profile cannot touch any of it, so they optimize half the problem and blame the other half. Running SEO on the website plan means one team owns both sides, and the new SEO pages each package produces are built into a site we already maintain. The two are separate lines on one bill, so you can see exactly what each costs.
What do I get every month?
A plain-English report showing what moved, what is holding you back, and the exact fixes we are making next across the profile, citations, schema, content gaps, and site speed. It is deliberately not a 40-page traffic export. The point is that you can read it in a few minutes and know whether the money is working.
Can you track which jobs came from local SEO?
Partly, and the limits are worth stating plainly. Leads that arrive through your website forms and your CRM are attributed automatically, and if you use Jobber we can sync completed job revenue back against them. What nobody can attribute cleanly is the customer who saw you in the map pack and simply called the number, which is a large share of local-search business. Treat rankings and call volume as the leading indicator and revenue as the trailing one.
What happens to my rankings if I stop?
The profile work, the citations, and the schema all persist. What decays is review velocity and content freshness. Rankings usually hold for 60 to 90 days, then drift down as competitors who keep going pull ahead. Local SEO is not a one-time project, it is a maintenance discipline.
I have multiple locations. How does that work?
Each genuinely staffed location needs its own Google Business Profile and its own real location page, tied together with consistent business information and sensible internal linking. What does not work is spinning up a page per city you would like to serve, which Google treats as doorway pages. Multi-location operators and franchises usually want a scoped Custom App build so the profiles, reporting, and lead routing run as one system.
My rankings move around week to week. Is something wrong?
Usually not. Local results are personalized by the searcher's exact location, so two people on opposite sides of town legitimately see different 3-packs for the same query, and your own position looks different depending on where you are standing when you check. Judge the trend over months rather than reacting to a single search, and never check while logged into the account that owns the profile.
How competitive is my market, and can I actually win?
It varies enormously by trade and area. Saturated categories like HVAC, med spas, and personal injury law in a dense metro take the full playbook and 4 to 6 months of consistent work. Specialty trades and less dense areas are frequently still held by businesses running the 2018 playbook, where the gap closes in months. The free audit tells you which situation you are in before you spend anything.
Do you lock me into a long contract?
The minimum is 6 months, then it goes month-to-month, and there is no setup fee. That is shorter and cheaper to start than the typical local-SEO agreement, which commonly pairs a 6 or 12 month commitment with an onboarding charge. Those longer industry terms exist because local SEO genuinely takes months to compound. We set ours at six because that is long enough to show you real movement, and after that staying is your call rather than the contract’s.
Can I do local SEO myself?
The baseline work, mostly yes: it is tedious rather than technically hard. Most owners we work with tried it, lost a quarter to it, and decided their time was better spent running the business. The pieces that pay for outside help are the hand-written schema, the citation cleanup, and simply staying consistent every month.

Let’s build the system that builds your business.

Build your system

Start ranking, and decide who answers the phone it makes ring. SEO from $200/mo on top of the $199/mo website plan, and no setup fee. The free local SEO audit is still there if you would rather see where you stand first.
