They were not looking for you yet.

Meta Ads management for service businesses.

Search only reaches the people who already know they have a problem. A lot of the work you want is sitting with somebody who has been meaning to deal with something for a year and has never once typed it into Google.

We produce the video and image creative, run your Facebook and Instagram campaigns, and land every lead in your CRM tied to the ad that paid for it. No shoot day, no ad account to babysit, and your budget goes straight to Meta.

$200 to get started, then 15% of ad spend. No agency retainer, and no other line required. Add the AI CRM ($249/mo) if you want the leads answered and attributed there.

  • Fully managed Meta Ads
  • On-brand video and image creative
  • Every lead tracked in your CRM

Meta Ads for a service business is paid advertising on Facebook and Instagram aimed at people in your area who are not searching yet. It reaches the work that never reaches a search bar until it becomes an emergency, and it is won on creative rather than on targeting settings, because the ad has to earn the stop. WebDevAuto produces the creative, builds and runs the campaigns, and lands every lead in your CRM tied to the ad that produced it.

What it costs

Start with Ad Studio

Your advertising plan is selected. Ad Studio needs no other line, so the price below is the one-time setup plus 15% of what you spend. Add the AI CRM if you want the leads your ads produce to land somewhere that tracks them back to the spend.

What do you need?

$200 one time

$200 one time to get started, and no monthly line of its own.

Start with Ad Studio

Ad Studio has no monthly of its own: the one-time setup, then 15% of your ad spend, billed as you spend it, with no agency retainer. Any monthly shown is the AI CRM, which is optional and can be added or left out. Your ad budget goes to Google and Meta directly.

How it works

You run the jobs. We run the ads.

Four things you hand over on day one. The step-by-step is in the detail below.

  • We make the creative

On-brand short-form video with voiceover and music, plus static image ads, built for your trade and your offer. No shoot day, no videographer to book.

  • We launch and manage

Campaigns built and targeted on both Google and Meta, then optimized day to day. You never open an ad account.

  • Your budget stays yours

Ad spend goes straight to Google and Meta, never through us. We charge a one-time setup and 15% of what you spend, with no agency retainer on top.

  • Every lead is traced back

Add the AI CRM and every call, form, and message lands there tied to the ad that produced it, so you see booked jobs rather than clicks and impressions. Ads run without it; this is what turns spend into a number you can read.

Part of your WebDevAuto system

Ads buy attention now. The system decides whether you keep it.

Advertising is the fastest lever here and the only one that stops the day you stop paying. It works best pointed at a system that converts and compounds.

  1. Ad StudioYou are herePuts you in front of people on Google and Meta today, at whatever budget you set.
  2. Your websiteWhere the click lands. A slow page is you paying for a visitor who leaves.
  3. Ava, your AI receptionistAnswers the calls the ads produce, including the ones that come in at 9pm.
  4. Local SEOThe half that keeps working between campaigns. Ranking does not stop when the budget does.
  5. Review automationTurns the jobs your ads bought into the reviews that make the next click cheaper.

Or buy the paid and the organic together

Pick Run my ads, and build what compounds in the flow above and you get the managed campaigns plus the ranking underneath them, with paid and organic leads in one place so you can see which one is actually cheaper for you.

Want to understand how it works?

Here is exactly how we build, operate, and improve it: every step from the day you say yes, why handing it over beats an agency retainer or running it yourself, and what the trade-offs actually are.

Meta Ads reach people who were not looking for you

Nobody opens Instagram to shop for a roofer. That is not a weakness of the channel, it is the definition of it, and almost every bad Meta campaign in the trades comes from running it as though it were search.
  • You are interrupting, so the creative has to earn the stop. On Google the search did the work of qualifying the person. On Meta the ad has to do it, in about two seconds, on a phone, usually with the sound off.
  • It reaches the jobs nobody searches for. Plenty of work is wanted but not urgent: the bathroom somebody has been meaning to redo, the yard they are tired of, the system they know is near the end. That demand never reaches a search bar until it becomes an emergency. Meta is how you reach it first.
  • Targeting is coarser than people expect, and that is fine. The platform is good at putting you in front of the right area and the right rough demographic. It is not a mind reader. In practice the creative does more of the targeting than the targeting settings do, because the people who stop are the ones who recognize their own problem in it.
  • Results take longer to read honestly. Search response is fast and unambiguous. Interruption response is noisier, arrives over a longer window, and a chunk of it shows up as somebody searching your name later. Judging a Meta campaign on week one is how good campaigns get killed.
The clean way to hold both in your head: Google is how you get found by somebody with a problem today. Meta is how you get remembered by somebody who will have one.

What actually stops the scroll for a local service business

The ads that work for the trades on Meta look almost nothing like the ads that work for consumer brands, and the gap is mostly about proof.
  • The work itself, shot plainly. Before and after is a cliche because it is the single most persuasive thing a trade can show. It answers the only question the viewer has, which is whether you are any good.
  • Local specifics, said out loud. The neighbourhood, the town, the kind of house. A generic ad competes with every national advertiser for attention. An ad that names the street somebody lives on does not.
  • One offer, one action. The scroll gives you one idea. A list of six services is a list of six reasons to keep scrolling.
  • Something that survives being watched silently. Most of it is watched with the sound off. If the point only lands in the voiceover, it does not land.
  • Fresh angles, often. The same creative shown to the same area stops working long before you get bored of it. This is the practical reason we generate the creative rather than book a shoot: a new angle should not wait on production.

The cheapest audience you have is the one that already visited

Most people who land on a service business website leave without calling. They were comparing, or they got interrupted, or they were not ready that day. They are also the warmest audience you will ever advertise to, because they have already been to your site and know who you are.

Showing those people something afterwards is usually the best-performing thing running in a Meta account, and it costs a fraction of reaching somebody cold. It only works if the visit was captured in the first place, which is the quiet reason the ads and the website and the CRM belong to the same system rather than three vendors who do not talk.

What we run on the Meta side

The same managed service as the Ad Studio page, on Facebook and Instagram.
  • We produce the creative. Short-form video with voiceover and music, plus static image ads, built for your trade and your offer. No shoot day, no videographer to book.
  • We build and launch the campaigns. Feeds, Reels, and Stories, with the format and budget matched to the placement.
  • We manage and optimize. Budget moves toward what produces, and new angles ship when the current ones tire.
  • Every lead lands in your CRM, tied to the ad that produced it. Forms, calls, and messages arrive on the same customer record as everything else.
  • Your ad budget stays yours. It goes straight to Meta. We charge the one time setup and 15% of what you spend, and nothing else is required. Add the AI CRM ($249/mo) if you want the leads to land there and be tied back to the spend.

Agency, do-it-yourself, or let us run it

Most service businesses have three options: hire an agency, run the ads themselves, or skip it. Here is how the agency or do-it-yourself path compares with handing it to WebDevAuto.
Agency or do-it-yourselfWebDevAuto runs them for you
Creative productionA shoot day or a freelance designer, days to weeks per assetOn-brand video and image ads produced fast, refreshed whenever you need
Who runs the campaignsYou, or an agency you still have to brief and manageWe build, launch, and optimize on Google and Meta, moving budget to what produces
What it costsAn agency retainer plus ad spend, or your own hours plus ad spend$200 to get started, then 15% of ad spend. No separate retainer
Tracking resultsClicks and impressions in a dashboard you have to readLeads and booked jobs in your CRM, tied to the ad that brought them in

The hard part of advertising was never the budget. It was making the creative, running the campaigns, and knowing what actually worked. We do all three.

The rest of the paid picture

Meta is one half of the managed service. The other half runs where people are already searching.

Pricing for Ad Studio

Ad Studio is $200 to get started, a one-time setup, then 15% of your ad spend, fully managed. That covers all of it: the creative, the campaign builds on Google and Meta, and the day-to-day optimization. Your ad budget stays yours and goes straight to the platforms.

Nothing else is required. It is not sold as an add-on to another line, so the cart reads $200 once plus the percentage, and that is the whole bill.

Most clients pair it with the AI CRM ($249/mo), because that is where the leads your ads produce are answered, tracked, and tied back to the spend that created them. That is a choice, not a requirement, and the ads run either way.

Start from the plan builder: add Ad Studio, pay the $200 setup, and we take it from there. No separate agency retainer.

Frequently asked questions

Do Meta Ads work for a local service business?
For the right kind of job, yes, but not in the way search does. Meta will not usually beat Google for somebody with a burst pipe right now, because that person is searching. It reaches the work that is wanted but not urgent, the remodel or the replacement somebody has been putting off, and it keeps you in front of an area between emergencies. Judged as a search channel it looks like a failure. Judged as the thing that fills the gap search cannot reach, it does a job nothing else does.
What is the difference between Meta Ads and Google Ads?
Google reaches people who typed the problem into a search bar, so the intent already exists and the job is to be present and credible. Meta reaches people who were doing something else, so the ad has to earn the attention before it can sell anything. That changes the creative, what a good result looks like, and how long you have to wait before the numbers mean anything. Most service businesses that can run both should, with search carrying the urgent work and Meta carrying the planned work.
What does WebDevAuto charge to run Meta Ads?
$200 to get started, a one time setup, then 15% of your ad spend, fully managed. That covers the creative, the campaign build, and the ongoing optimization. Your ad budget is separate, stays yours, and goes straight to Meta. Nothing else is required. Most clients add the AI CRM ($249/mo) alongside it, where the leads are answered and tied back to the spend, but that is a choice rather than a requirement.
Do I need to be on camera?
No. We produce short-form video and static image ads for you, built around your trade, your offer, and your best work. Photos of finished jobs go a long way, and being willing to appear yourself helps in some trades, but nothing about the service requires it.
How long before Meta Ads are worth judging?
Longer than search, and that is the most common way a working campaign gets killed. Interruption response arrives over a wider window, and some of it shows up later as somebody searching your business by name rather than clicking the ad. We watch the leads landing in your CRM rather than the platform dashboard, because the platform only sees what happened inside the platform.
