A complete sales system for salons, barbers, and beauty studios

Your phone buzzes mid-service. A DM. A potential new client asking about availability. By the time you finish the fill and check your phone, she's booked at the studio down the street.

No-shows cost the average salon 18% of annual revenue.1 Inquiries that go unanswered for two hours don't come back. The clients you spent ad budget acquiring are owned by StyleSeat, Vagaro, or Square, not by you.

WebDevAuto is the complete sales system that catches every inquiry, gets it booked, sends reminders that actually work, and keeps your client list in your hands.

What it costs

Start with the system that runs your front office

The AI CRM is already selected. It is what answers the calls, books the work, and follows up, with no per-seat licensing and no setup fee.

What do you need?

$249/mo

$261/mo with tax. No setup fee.

Build my system

No setup fee. The CRM is month to month, cancel anytime. AI features are billed based on usage, you only pay for what you actually use.

How it works

Keep the chair full

Four things that decide a salon month. The detail is below.

  • They book without calling

Most salon bookings happen when you are mid-service. Self-serve booking is the fix.

  • No-shows drop

Automatic reminders protect the slot, and the slot is the whole product.

  • The missed call comes back

A text back in seconds keeps a new client from booking down the street.

  • They come back

Follow-up and review requests turn a first visit into a regular.

Part of your WebDevAuto system

One system, not four subscriptions.

Every part writes to the same customer record. That is the difference between a stack you maintain and a system that runs.

  1. Local SEOGets you found, which is what makes the phone ring in the first place.
  2. Your websiteTurns that visitor into a call, a form, or a booking instead of a back-button.
  3. Your front officeYou are hereAnswers, books, follows up, invoices, and asks for the review.
  4. Missed-call automationTexts back in about 30 seconds on the calls nobody picked up.
  5. Review automationAsks for the Google review after the job, which feeds the ranking that started it.

Or take the whole system at once

Pick The CRM, and more customers to put in it in the flow above and you add the ranking that fills it, with the website included in the ranking line rather than billed twice.

Want to understand how it works?

Here is exactly how we build, operate, and improve it: the booking and no-show economics, the per-stylist scheduling detail, and how the client record works across visits.

Where salons and studios actually lose money

Three leaks cost most beauty businesses more revenue than any marketing problem:

  • 18%1

of annual revenue lost to no-shows

28.4% of those no-shows happen because the client simply forgot

  • 0

off-hours inquiries answered by solo artists

Instagram DMs, missed calls, and after-hours texts pile up while you're with a client and don't get answered until you close

  • ~30%

    platform-tax on bookings

StyleSeat, Vagaro, and Square Appointments charge fees AND route your clients through their marketplace, not your brand

  • 100%

of the client list is yours when you own your CRM

not the marketplace's: exportable, brand-owned, and free of marketplace fees

The fix is software that picks up every call and text instantly, gets the client booked, sends reminders that actually work, and keeps the client relationship pointed at your brand.

What does the leak look like at your studio?

Ava answers calls. AI auto-replies to DMs. 24/7.

When a client calls during business hours and you're mid-service, Ava picks up on the first ring.
Ava isn't a recording or a phone menu. She runs a real conversation:
  • Identifies the service ("Full set? Lash fill? Color and cut? Brow lamination?")
  • Captures preferences (timing, stylist preference, returning vs. new)
  • Texts the client your booking link so they lock in a time while you finish the service
  • Logs the conversation into your CRM
For solo artists running booth-rent setups, the bigger leak is often Instagram DMs, and we will be straight with you: threading those into the inbox is built on Meta's messaging platform and is still pending Meta App Review, so it is not live yet. What Ava covers today is every call, text, and web chat, so the phone stops being the leak while we get the DM channel approved.

Your brand. Your client list. Not StyleSeat's.

Your website is where your brand actually lives, not on a booking marketplace. For beauty businesses, owning the brand and the client list is the difference between building equity in your studio and renting it from a platform.
WebDevAuto sites for beauty businesses are engineered to:
  • Load fast on mobile, clients browse and book between appointments and errands, and a page that stalls loses the tap to book
  • Showcase your work. High-conversion gallery and before/after patterns tuned for visual-first verticals
  • Capture every booking: instant booking, integrated calendar, no marketplace fee
  • Rank locally: technical SEO done right, so when someone searches "lash extensions near me" or "balayage [city]" you actually appear

The two-fix system for no-shows

Multi-channel reminders are the fix that is live today, and they handle the 28% of clients who simply forget. Deposit-on-booking, taking a card at the moment a client books, is on the roadmap and not yet available, so it should not factor into your decision right now.
Multi-channel reminders handle the 28% of clients who forget:
  • 48 hours before: SMS + email confirmation
  • 24 hours before: SMS confirmation with reschedule link
  • 2 hours before: SMS with directions/parking
  • 30 minutes before: ETA-based "your stylist is finishing up, ready when you arrive"
When clients reschedule or cancel, the system instantly opens the slot to your waitlist, texting the next-up client with a one-tap booking confirmation. That single feature recovers more lost revenue than most studios expect.

Every client, every channel, every preference, in one place

A unified inbox + CRM that pulls in calls, texts, emails, and web form submissions, threaded per client. Instagram DMs are pending Meta App Review and will join the same inbox once approved.
For each client, the system stores:
  • Service history (what was booked, when, with which stylist, with which products)
  • Preferences (color formulas, lash style, brow shape, fragrance allergies)
  • Communication trail (every text, every reminder, every reschedule)
  • Lifetime value, retention status, and rebooking window
Most importantly: your client list is yours. Not StyleSeat's. Not Vagaro's. Yours. Export it, take it with you if you change platforms, and stop paying marketplace fees on clients you originally acquired through your own marketing.

Turn every finished service into the next three bookings

Beauty businesses get found through search, social, and word of mouth. Reviews and referrals are not a nice-to-have here, they are the top of your funnel.
The system works the chair you already filled:
  • Sends a review request by text at the right moment after the appointment, while the client is happiest and still in the parking lot
  • Routes five-star clients to your Google profile (the reviews that move local ranking) and catches anything unhappy privately first
  • Gives each client a personal referral link, then tags and credits the bookings it brings back in
  • Pulls your newest before and after photos and best reviews back onto the site and Google profile automatically
For a chair-based business, one happy client who leaves a review and refers a friend is worth more than most ad spend. The system makes that loop automatic instead of something you remember to ask for once a month.

Rebooking and retail, the revenue most chairs leave on the table

The biggest leak in beauty usually is not the no-show. It is the client who loved the work and simply never got around to booking the next one.
The system closes that gap on autopilot:
  • Pre-books the next visit at checkout and reminds clients when they are due, tuned to the service (color every 4 to 6 weeks, lash refills every 2 to 3 weeks)
  • Runs memberships and prepaid packages on Stripe, so regulars are billed automatically and rebook by default
  • Texts retail clients when a product they bought is due to run out, based on their visit cadence
  • Re-engages lapsed clients on a timed cadence before they drift to the studio down the street
Rebooking rate is the single highest-leverage number in a salon. Lifting it a few points per stylist compounds across every chair, every week, all year.

Lead Finder, for studios ready to grow beyond walk-ins and Instagram

Available as a custom add-on for CRM customers. Lead Finder is our proprietary local prospecting engine, tuned for beauty businesses.
Every beauty deployment includes:
  • A discovery call to map your ideal client profile, service area, and aesthetic
  • A custom-tuned outbound campaign, what works for a high-end balayage studio looks different from a barbershop or a lash bar
  • DNC compliance, state-by-state outbound rules, per-message review
  • Direct integration with your CRM so warm prospects flow into the same inbox as your inbound calls and texts

The platform behind a booked-out chair

The beauty and personal-care system is built from these services, each a deeper look at how it fills and rebooks the calendar:

  • Books and rebooks appointments around the clock, so a client who calls mid-service still lands on the schedule.

  • Ranks your studio in the map pack and surfaces your best reviews for the near-me discovery searches.

  • Texts back missed booking calls before the client scrolls to the next salon on the list.

  • Selling products online? A store built so card data never touches your servers, Stripe-tokenized checkout that keeps your PCI scope small.

Tuned for the beauty industry

Our system is configured per studio type: different intake scripts, different rebooking cadences:

  • Hair salons

full-service color/cut/style booking, stylist preference routing, rebooking by formula expiry

  • Barbershops

high-frequency rebooking (every 3 to 4 weeks), walk-in vs. appointment mix, recurring auto-rebook

  • Lash studios

full-set vs. refill flow, refill cadence reminders, before/after gallery

  • Nail salons

manicure/pedicure/full-set booking, recurring rebooking, gel-soak-off appointment chaining

  • Brow studios

    shaping/tinting/lamination booking, before/after gallery, touch-up cadence

  • Waxing & sugaring studios

quick-turn recurring visits, series and membership packages, rebooking on a 4 to 6 week cadence

  • Spray tan & sunless studios

event-driven booking, prep-and-aftercare reminders, recurring monthly memberships

  • Makeup & bridal artists

event and travel booking, trial-to-wedding follow-up, party headcount and timeline capture

  • Permanent makeup & PMU

multi-session booking (powder brows, lip blush, microblading), patch-test and healing-cadence reminders, before/after consent capture

We also serve tanning salons, threading bars, and other beauty specialties, which often need custom tuning beyond the configurations above.

Why this isn't Vagaro, Mindbody, or StyleSeat

You've probably tried Vagaro, Boulevard, GlossGenius, Mindbody, or StyleSeat. They're booking platforms: calendars, payments, client management.

Here's the difference:

- Vagaro / Boulevard / GlossGenius / Mindbody, booking software. They manage your calendar. They don't build your website, they don't answer the calls that come in after you've closed, they don't run lead generation, and Mindbody's marketplace can route your clients to other studios. - StyleSeat / Booksy, booking marketplaces. They take a cut of every transaction AND own the client relationship through their app. - WebDevAuto: branded website + AI receptionist + automated reminders + CRM + lead finder, all owned by you, no marketplace cut.

Pricing built around where you are

You can start with one piece and layer on the rest as the chair fills. Most studios begin with Website Design & Hosting ($199/mo), the brand-owned home that replaces a StyleSeat profile or DIY page, then add the CRM ($249/mo: AI inquiry handling, missed-call automation, client-list ownership, with AI billed by usage) and SEO & Google Business Profile ($399/mo, which already includes the website, so it replaces that line rather than adding to it) once the calendar is consistently full. Everything together is $648/mo.

Frequently asked questions

Can it answer Instagram DMs, not just phone calls?
Not yet, and it is the honest answer rather than the one we would like to give. Instagram DMs run on Meta's messaging platform, which requires Meta App Review before any third party can read or reply to them, and we are still in that queue. Today Ava answers every call, text, and web chat, and all of it threads onto one client record. When Meta approves the integration, DMs join that same inbox with nothing for you to change.
How does deposit-on-booking actually cut no-shows?
Deposit-on-booking is on the roadmap and not available today, so we will not sell it to you as though it were. What is live is the reminder sequence at 48 hours, 24 hours, 2 hours, and 30 minutes, which targets the roughly 28% of no-shows that happen because a client simply forgot, plus an automatic waitlist text that refills a slot the moment somebody cancels.
Who owns my client list, me or the platform?
You do. On StyleSeat, Vagaro, Booksy, or Square the marketplace routes and effectively owns the client relationship and takes a cut of bookings. With WebDevAuto your client list lives in your CRM: exportable, brand-owned, and free of marketplace fees, so you stop renting access to clients you acquired through your own marketing.
Will this replace Vagaro, GlossGenius, or Boulevard?
It can, or it can sit alongside them. Those are booking calendars; they do not build your branded website, answer your calls and texts around the clock, or run lead generation, and marketplaces like StyleSeat and Booksy take a cut of every transaction. WebDevAuto is the full client-acquisition system (branded website + AI receptionist + automated reminders + CRM) all owned by you with no marketplace cut.
What happens to the slot when a client cancels?
The system instantly opens the slot to your waitlist and texts the next-up client a one-tap booking confirmation. For most studios that automatic waitlist fill is the single biggest recovery of otherwise-lost revenue.
Which kinds of studios is this built for?
Hair salons, barbershops, lash studios, nail salons, and brow studios out of the box, plus waxing, tanning, and makeup artists with custom tuning. Each gets its own intake script and rebooking cadence, because a barbershop's every-3-to-4-week auto-rebook is nothing like a lash studio's full-set-then-refill flow.
Does it work with my Instagram, including DMs and link-in-bio booking?
Partly. Your link-in-bio can point at your booking page today, and every call, text, and web chat threads into one inbox. Automated replies to Instagram DMs specifically are pending Meta App Review and are not live, so if DMs are your single biggest channel, that is worth weighing before you buy.
Can I require deposits on only my high-ticket services?
Not today. Per-service deposits are part of the deposit-on-booking work that is still on the roadmap, so there is no way to require a card on high-ticket services yet. The reminder sequence and the automatic waitlist refill are what protect those appointments right now.
Can several stylists or booth renters share one system?
Yes. Each stylist or renter gets their own calendar, intake routing, and reminder cadence inside one studio system, so a client books the right person automatically. The client list stays owned by the studio rather than scattered across individual StyleSeat or Vagaro profiles.
Do you build the before and after gallery, or is that on me?
We build it. The website ships with high-conversion gallery and before/after patterns tuned for visual-first beauty work, and review automation can pull your newest photos and five-star reviews back onto the site and Google profile so the gallery keeps filling itself.
How does rebooking work, do clients get reminded when they are due?
The system pre-books the next visit at checkout and reminds clients when they are due, tuned to the service (color every 4 to 6 weeks, lash refills every 2 to 3 weeks). Memberships and prepaid packages on Stripe keep regulars rebooking by default, and lapsed clients get a timed re-engagement text before they book elsewhere.
